Eagle Scout Recognition Ceremony

Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University

The Eagle Scout Recognition Ceremony will celebrate the accomplishments of the 2024/2025 class of Eagles. Eagle Scouts and their families attend the ceremony free-of-charge due to the generosity of our event sponsors. Sponsorships begin at $2,500.

Whitney M. Young, Jr. Reception

September 2025 | Atlanta Area Council Volunteer Service Center

The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award recognizes individuals and corporations who have been instrumental in the development of Scouting for youth who often face challenging barriers.

Corporate Classic 

Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Golf Club of Georgia

The Corporate Classic is the Council’s longest-running special event featuring golf at the Golf Club of Georgia. With 72 foursomes, both courses will be in play. VIP Experience will be available to teams who sponsor at the Presenting level or above.

The 2025 Corporate Classic is chaired by Chuck Lischer, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Graphic Packaging.

Metro Classic

Monday & Tuesday, October 6 & 7, 2025 at Chateau Elan

The Metro Classic is one of Atlanta’s largest golf tournaments. It kicks off with an auction, dinner and evening of entertainment on October 6th. Guests receive a first class day of golf, including lunch, dinner, beverages and a reception the following day.

Sporting Clays Classic

Monday and Tuesday, November 18 & 19, 2025 at Barnsley Resort

The Sporting Clays Tournament features clay shooting at the beautiful Barnsley Resort. Top sponsors are invited to an exclusive sponsor shoot, dinner, auction and cocktail party on November 18th, while all guests enjoy a shooting tournament the following day. Team Sponsorships begin at $3,950. 

Golden Eagle Luncheon

Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Cobb Galleria Center

Join more than 1,000 of the Atlanta Area’s top business and community leaders as we celebrate Scouting’s success in 2024, and pledge to support its future. The Golden Eagle Luncheon is named in honor of our donors at the $1,000 level and above.

Every dollar contributed through special events is restricted for the Atlanta Area Council to benefit the Scouting program in Metro-Atlanta
