Scout Days
Scout Days are unique opportunities for your family to attend exciting experiences around the Atlanta Area with other Scouting families. All Scout Days are offered at a discounted price of admission, and a portion of the proceeds from each Scout Day is given to the Atlanta Area Council.
Each year the council partners with various local and national organizations to bring family-friendly activities to our Scouts at a discounted price. Our partners include the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Hawks, Ringling Brothers, the Georgia State Capitol and more.

Atlanta Braves Baseball -- April 18, 2020 - Postponed
Cheer on the Atlanta Braves as they face off against the San Francisco Giants. Discounted tickets will be available, and a portion of each ticket goes back to support Metro-Atlanta Scouting! Bring your friends and family to celebrate Scouting and baseball - Two great Atlanta traditions. Be sure to arrive early to take part in the Scout Parade around the field to experience Truist Park from the players’ point-of-view!

Six Flags -- May 23, 2020 - Postponed
Join your fellow Scouts and Leaders as we have great fun at Six Flags Over Georgia. Take the challenge! RIDE your way to 5K victory. Bring your Pack, Troop, Crew or family to the park for a day of fun and thrills and take part in a 5k Ride Challenge. This unique Roller Coaster and Amusement Ride challenge is to ride a minimum distance of 5K (3.1 miles, 16,404 feet) of roller coaster track or ride diameter.
Scouts who successfully complete this feat will be awarded with a Commemorative Patch as they “cross” the finish line. To monitor progress, participants will receive a tracker and completion marks to track the number of rides and distance achieved throughout the day.

White Water -- June 27, 2020 - Postponed
Join us for Scouts Water Safety Day! Receive your Six Flags limited edition commemorative Scout Patch June 27th. Bring your Pack, Troop, Crew and family to enjoy Six Flags White Water, the Southeast’s largest water park, featuring more than 30 slides, a huge wave pool and a lazy river! The park will open early for Scouts with event purchased tickets.
Scouts will gather basic water knowledge, including examining PH levels, inspecting the water, the importance of using the Buddy System, life jacket and more! We will have certified lifeguard personnel onsite for training, Q&A and demonstration.
