Learn More About Becoming a Pack Guide

The Atlanta Area Council is launching a new initiative called “IMPACKT”. This will be a unique collaboration of Scouting volunteers and professionals to start new packs where needed and to guide those new packs, along with struggling packs, to sustainability.

The Vision of IMPACKT is “Stronger Families thru Scouting” and the Mission is “We will enable more families in the Atlanta Area to participate in Scouting by starting and supporting sustainable Cub Scout Packs”.

We plan to recruit, orient, and assign a volunteer “Pack Guide” to each new pack (and struggling pack) who will guide and support pack leaders and parents to achieve a successful and sustainable Cub Scout Pack.  More information in the IMPACKT Plan, Pack Guide Position Description and Resources Handout (with links to resources right now).
