What it means to be an Eagle Scout

The honor and distinction of the Eagle Scout rank can only be achieved through hard work and commitment to the ideals of the Scouting movement. The achievement is so rare, that only 5% of Scouts earn the Eagle rank. Since its introduction in 1911, the Eagle Scout rank has been earned by more than 2 million young men. Once a scout advances to Eagle Scout, he will remain an Eagle for the rest of his life regardless of age or participation in Scouting. Eagle Scouts are expected to set an example for other Scouts and to become the leaders in life that they have demonstrated themselves to be in Scouting. As such, they are disproportionately represented in the military, service academy graduates, in higher education and academia, major professions, the clergy, business and politics.

Why You Should Give

You will find below a list of just a few examples of Eagle Scouts that have made a difference in our country below. America needs their leadership and ultimately needs Scouting to help develop these fine young men.  If you want to invest in your future leaders and support the nationally recognized and respected brand of Eagle Scouts, this is the event for you!

Eagle Scouts and their families attend the Eagle Scout Recognition Ceremony free-of-charge. Sponsorships help insure an inspirational and memorable event for all to enjoy.

Sponsorships of the Eagle Scout Recognition Ceremony will go to help fund camp scholarships, outreach programs and general support of Scouting in metro Atlanta. Sponsorships range from $50,000 - $1,000. Click here for sponsorship levels.
