Cub Scout Families of Soapstone Ridge, you're invited to the 2018 Soapstone Ridge Fish Camp out at Bert Adams Scout Camp!!! Taking place on April 20th-April 22nd, there’ll be Fishing, BB Guns, Archery & Field Games! This event is intended to be fun and leisurely! Depending on spacing, you may pick the option to fish during the morning session and take part in Shooting Sports and Unit Led Field Games in the afternoon session or vice versa! We’ll be giving out awards for the fisher with the “First Catch”, “Biggest Catch” and the “Most Catches”! Camping facilities include the adventure tents and electricity, but space is limited! And don’t forget that Bert Adams allows you to bring your bike! So grab your bicycles and fishing gear and get ready to have an awesome time at the 2018 Soapstone Ridge Fish Camp.

Cost:

$15 scouts/siblings

$10 Adults

 

The Fine Print:

You must register as a Pack. The first 6 Packs that register are guaranteed a space in the Adventure Tents. There may be room for more Packs but when the space is filled, the remaining Packs will be assigned to a traditional campsite. If you register by Wednesday, April 11th, Scout and sibling registration will include a T-shirt, patch and fishing bait. Adult registration will include t-shirt and bait, with an option to purchase a patch on the day of the event(based on availability).. Late registration will start on Thursday, April 12th through Tuesday, April 17th and will not include a t-shirt. Adults, Scouts and Siblings must bring their own fishing pole Registration ends on Tuesday April 17th! We will not be able to guarantee camping space after this date! Camping is not mandatory to participate; however, there will not be an option for a reduced price.

A ROSTER AND MEDICAL FORMS FOR ALL PARTICPANTS ARE MANDATORY BEFORE CHECKING INTO A CAMPSITE!

 

What to know before you register:

  1. The breakdown of how many scouts, siblings and adults including youth males, youth females, adult males, adult females and Scout Rank.
  2. Preferred schedule:
  • Option 1:  Fishing- 8:30am-11:30am

                   BB Guns, Archery, Unit Led Field Games – 1:30p-4:30pm

                   Open Fishing with own Unit (optional)-6pm-8pm

  • Option 2:  Fishing- 1:30pm -4:30pm

                   BB Guns, Archery, Unit Led Field Games – 1:30p-4:30pm

                   Open Fishing with own Unit (optional)-6pm-8pm

  1. T-shirt sizes of all registrants.

 

Packs that participate in early registration will receive their campsite details by Friday, April 13th. Late registrants will receive campsite detail by Thursday, April 19th.
