The Atlanta Area Council covers 13 metro-Atlanta counties: Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett, Haralson, Newton, Paulding, Pickens, and Rockdale.

Scouter's Academy (Jan 28)
All Aboard! Choose from over 40 classes that range from the beginning leader/Cub Scout parent to Boy Scout leader/veteran Venture Crew advisor. There are even some classes for the youth leaders in your Boy Scout Troop! You will be riding along the rails journeying for an entire day's event that combines fun with quality instruction to aid you in reaching the success destination in Scouting. Click here to register.
College of Commissioner Science (Feb 25)
By popular request, the 37th College of Commissioner Science will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012, as a one-day event, packed with training and networking opportunities that will benefit all commissioners. For more information and to register, click here!
Scouting for Food (March 2012)
Scouting for Food is the annual service project conducted by Scouts in the Atlanta Area Council. Scouts will collect canned goods during the month of March in their local neighborhoods. Atlanta Introduces First Combined Federal Law Enforcement Explorer Post in Nation
35 young men and women were selected to be part of the first combined Federal Law Enforcement Explorer Post in the nation. This program provides an opportunity for high school students (grades 9-12) to learn and practice leadership skills with the FBI, ATF, DEA, Air Marshals, US Marshals, ICE and Secret Service. Tour Planning Updates
