In celebration of Independence Day, please note the following holiday hours: the Program Center, Scout Shop, and Volunteer Service Center will be closed Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5 and will reopen Monday, July 6. The Boy Scouts wishes you a safe, wonderful Fourth of July.

The 21st Century Wood Badge still has openings for the summer and fall courses. Revised in 2001, Wood Badge brings together leaders from all areas of Scouting. Reflecting the best of nearly a century of Scouting experience, the course also draws upon the most current leadership models used by corporate America, academic circles, and successful outdoor leadership organizations through the country. Attention all leaders! Join us for the Trainer’s Edge on August 15 at the Volunteer Service Center. This new course will provide and help develop the platform skills of a trainer with a focus on the participant, while raising the level of skill a trainer brings to training courses. This course will “train the trainer” on behaviors and resources while offering hands on experience in methods and media.Click here for more information.
