National Youth Leader Training (NYLT)   NYLT: This six day course is intended for Senior Youth Leaders. It is conducted by the council in a camping situation. The NYLT experience models a month in the life of a unit – three unit meetings and a big event (outpost camp). The course uses the patrol method, model Team Leaders’ Council meetings and skill sessions to guide patrols on their "Quest for the Meaning of Leadership" and help participants develop leadership and teamwork skills to take back to their Units. The course is an intensive experience in leadership skills and is provided by the Council at the Bert Adams Scout Reservation located in Covington. Courses are generally held in the early summer.
