Scout CPR Saturday The Atlanta Area Council is determined to train thousands of participants through several CPR Saturday Trainings. Please tell your family, friends and co-workers to sign-up. We will be teaching Adult CPR and AED skills and we will be teaching an add-on Child CPR/AED segment. These trainings are open to the public! Fall and winter dates for 2009 will be announced shortly. It’s time to check your CPR Certification! Why? For adults, it is required for BSA tour permits and summer camp adult leadership. Please check your unit’s certification. Why? For Scouts, this course will help satisfy the requirement to demonstrate CPR knowledge for the water, first aid, personal and outdoor skills merit badges. Save time at summer camp by getting CPR Certified now. Why? On July 1, 2007, Woodruff Scout Resevation recorded a CPR save due in part to three Adult Leaders that had CPR/AED training. Train all your adults and youth before you need it! CPR Instructor Course We are looking for a few good scouters to become trained as American Red Cross Instructors and Wilderness First Aid Instructors. Join the Council's Teach Back Program to earn back the course fee. Click here to register. $150.00 covers the cost of the class, plus a complete "Instructor Binder" with materials that the instructor will need to teach future classes.
