Boy Scout Camping

Camping is an integral part of the Scouting program. In the outdoors, boys have opportunities to acquire skills that make them more self-reliant. They can explore canoe and hiking trails and complete challenges they first thought were beyond their ability. Attributes of good character become part of a boy as he learns to cooperate to meet challenges he may face in the great outdoors.

The Atlanta Area Council offers Boy Scout summer resident camp at both Camp Bert Adams in Covington, Georgia and Camp Woodruff in Blairsville, Georgia.  Weekend Camping is also available at both properties except during the summer.  Choose your adventure below or call the Program Center at 770-989-8820 or contact Veronica Bramlett for more information.
