Activities For Adults at Bert Adams

The fun and adventure at camp isn't just for Scouts!  We have an exciting program planned for the adults who spend the week with us, too.  Here are some of the activities that will be available.

Adult Service Award

Complete a list of fun and engaging adult activities to earn our Service Award.

Scoutmaster Skeet Shoot

Test your skills at one of Scouting's ultimate challenges.  Tuesday at 1:00pm at the shotgun range.  $1 for 3 shots, bring to the shoot.  Must attend a Monday & Tuesday Shotgun class for orientation.

Adult Leader Iron Chef Competition

Make a camp dish using our mystery ingredient!  The mystery ingredient will be unveiled on Tuesday night.  Entries must be ready for tasting on Wednesday at 12:30pm at the Outdoor Skills shelter.  Participants should be prepared with their own cooking equipment and to bring/shop for remaining ingredients.  Some camp "staples" may be available from the dining hall, if available.

Leaders vs. Staff Volleyball Game

Face off against the staff for two volleyball games.  First game is played on Monday at 7:30pm and the second game is played Wednesday at 1:00pm.

Adult Leader's Dinner

Hang out with your troop for dinner on Tuesday, but don't go anywhere!  The best dinner in camp begins at 6:00pm at Tom's Diner.  Visit with our Scouting executives and some of our council's board members during this feast.

History & Adventure Tour

Learn about camp's unique history and explore some of our facilities.  Leaves from the Bill Loeble Room on Thursday at 2:30pm.

Adult Leader's Brunch

Enjoy a gourmet brunch on Friday at 10:15am in the dining hall.
