Land of Adventure

Bert Adams Scout Reservation is located in Georgia's Appalachian Piedmont near the city of Covington, GA.  Bert Adams is a pristine 1250 acre property that includes scenic meadows, rolling hills, a large lake surrounded by Scout lands, and riverfront on the Yellow River.  Bert Adams is Georgia's original Scout camp, with Bert Adams summer camps operating since 1927. 

The Bert Adams Scout Reservation recently completed a $12.8 million capital construction program that includes the new Love Dining Hall, new aphitheatre, new swimming pool, bridges, pavilions, campsites, shower houses, and more!  Bert Adams also prides itself on being a bike-friendly camp! 

Bert Adams is a fully operational camp facility with summer camps and year-round programs for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers.  We are also a host to the National Camping School and in 2013 will be home to a section Conclave and council camporee!
