2 World Class Summer Camps Quick Link to Bert Adams Summer Camp Quick Link to Woodruff Summer Camp The highlight of your Scouting year for Boy Scouts is a week or more of Summer Camp. Camp Robert W. Woodruff in the North Georgia mountains and Camp Bert Adams in Georgia's Piedmont near Atlanta. Both offer some of the best summer camp programs in the BSA. Supported by excellent facilities, equipment and great staffs, our Summer Camps are known for the quality and value of their programs. To a Scout, the magic of Summer Camp is the greatest adventure that Scouting holds. To a Scout leader, Summer Camp is the greatest opportunity he has to help his Scouts grow, and thus to achieve Scouting's aims. As Scout Leaders, we have the responsibility to help a Scout to find that magic. 10,632 Scouts and leaders made our summer camps their destination in 2012, don't miss out for 2013!! Program specific information on the 2013 Summer Camp Programs will be released by December. Basic information is always available at the Atlanta Volunteer Service Center or on the website. Special Note: Reservations for Woodruff Summer Camp will fill quickly. In general, the majority of weeks will be filled prior to early November. Popular weeks such as 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6 will fill first. The entire camp will most likely be at reservation capacity (850 youth/week) by Thanksgiving. Atlanta units have priority for reservations through September 15th, after that out-of-council unit reservations will be confirmed.
