COPE & Climbing
Project C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience)
The Atlanta Area Council invites all Boy Scout Troops, Varsity Scout Teams, Venture Crews, Ships, and Explorer Posts to come out and enjoy a weekend of Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience at the Project COPE Course at Woodruff Scout Camp near Blairsville or at the Bert Adams Scout Camp near Covington. Project COPE, a national program of the Boy Scouts of America, is composed of group initiative games, trust events, low-course events, and high-course events. Some activities involve a group challenge, while others develop individual skills and agility. Participants climb, swing, balance, jump, rappel, and devise solutions to a variety of problems. Most participants achieve much more than they imagined they could. See special note at bottom of this page regarding required forms.
