One of the strengths of Scouting worldwide is the fact that many people pull together to coordinate activities and a first class character education program for our youth. In the Atlanta Area Council, we have thousands of volunteers who donate their time, talent and resources to make sure our Scouts receive the best program and support available. 2013 Friends of Scouting Campaign - Leadership for the Next Generation
Friends of Scouting helps secure the operating funds needed by the Atlanta Area Council to provide the many services offered to support unit programs, such as training, insurance, program materials, advancement materials, camping facilities and programs, Council and district activities, and much more.
Those that give to Friends of Scouting Family Campaign at the Leadership Level of $350 or more will receive the special edition "Reverent" Council shoulder patch.
Investors giving at the Patron Level at $500 and above will also receive a "Reverent" Collectors' Edition Ghost patch.

Workplace/Matching Gifts - Increase Your Boy Scout Support
Many corporations match gifts made by their employees to the Boy Scouts. Some companies even give financial contributions on behalf of the time you give as a volunteer. Click here to view some companies who have historically matched their employee's generosity. If you do not see your employer here, please don't assume they do not participate in the matching gifts program; check with your human resources department for more information. (Please Note: You must initiate the matching gifts process with your company.)
Stock Donations
Stock transfers are an easy and convenient way to support Scouting. You can donate stock to the Atlanta Area Council to support the Friends of Scouting Campaign, a gift to the Endowment Fund, to the Capital Campaign, or any other general contribution. Click here for stock transfer directions.
